About the Operating System (O operačním systému)

Make sure that the OS is Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7 (Service Pack 1 or later), Windows Vista (Service Pack 2 or later), and the installed Windows Media Player version on your computer is 11 or 12. (Ujistěte se, že operační systém je Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7 (Service Pack 1 nebo novější), Windows Vista (Service Pack 2 nebo novější) a že nainstalovaná verze Windows Media Player ve vašem počítači je 11 nebo 12.)

The Mac OS is not supported by your Walkman. (Váš Walkman nepodporuje Mac OS.)

How to Install the supplied Software (Jak nainstalovat dodaný software)

1. Connect your Walkman to a running computer. (Připojte Walkman k zapnutému počítači.)
   
   
2. Select the following order with the computer. (Vyberte v počítači následující pořadí.)
   • Windows 7 or earlier: Select [Start] - [Computer] or [My Computer] - [WALKMAN] - [FOR_WINDOWS]. (Windows 7 nebo starší: Vyberte [Start] - [Počítač] nebo [Tento počítač] - [WALKMAN] - [FOR_WINDOWS].)
   • Windows 8.1 or Windows 8: Select [Desktop] from [Start screen] to open [File Explorer]. (Windows 8.1 nebo Windows 8: Vyberte [Plocha] z [Úvodní obrazovky] pro otevření [Průzkumníka souborů].) In the [Computer] list, select [WALKMAN] - [FOR_WINDOWS]. (V seznamu [Počítač] vyberte [WALKMAN] - [FOR_WINDOWS].)
3. Double-click [Help_Guide_Installer.exe]. (Dvakrát klikněte na [Help_Guide_Installer.exe].)
   The install wizard appears. (Zobrazí se průvodce instalací.)
4. Follow the on-screen instructions. (Postupujte podle pokynů na obrazovce.)
   After the installer finishes, the Help Guide shortcut appears on the desktop of your computer. (Po dokončení instalace se na ploše vašeho počítače zobrazí zástupce Nápovědy.)

Charging the Battery (Nabíjení baterie)

The battery for your Walkman is recharged while the Walkman is connected to a running computer. (Baterie vašeho Walkmanu se nabíjí, když je Walkman připojen k zapnutému počítači.)

Note (Poznámka)

• If you charge your Walkman when it has not been used for a long period of time, your computer may not recognize it, or nothing may appear on the display. (Pokud nabíjíte Walkman, který nebyl delší dobu používán, počítač jej nemusí rozpoznat nebo se na displeji nemusí nic zobrazit.) Charge the Walkman for about 10 minutes, after which it should start operating normally again. (Nabíjejte Walkman asi 10 minut, poté by měl opět začít normálně fungovat.)

• If you turn on the computer, restart the computer, shut down the computer, or wake up the computer from Sleep or Hibernate status while your Walkman is connected to the computer, the Walkman may malfunction. About volume operation (O ovládání hlasitosti)

An alarm (beep) and a warning [Check the volume level] are meant to protect your ears when you turn the volume up to a level which is harmful for your ears for the first time. (Alarm (pípnutí) a varování [Zkontrolujte úroveň hlasitosti] mají chránit vaše uši, když poprvé zvýšíte hlasitost na úroveň, která je pro vaše uši škodlivá.) You can cancel the alarm and warning by pressing any button. (Alarm a varování můžete zrušit stisknutím libovolného tlačítka.)

• You can turn up the volume after canceling the alarm and warning. (Po zrušení alarmu a varování můžete zvýšit hlasitost.)
• After the initial warning, the alarm and warning repeat for every 20 cumulative hours that the volume is set to a level which is harmful for your ears; when this happens, the volume is turned down automatically. Turning Your Walkman On and Off (Zapnutí a vypnutí Walkmanu)

To turn on (Zapnutí)	Press the button. (Stiskněte tlačítko .)
To turn off (Vypnutí)	Press and hold the button. (Stiskněte a podržte tlačítko .)

Hint (Tip)

• If music playback is paused and no operations are attempted for a certain period of time, your Walkman turns off automatically, except when the FM radio is activated. (Pokud je přehrávání hudby pozastaveno a po určitou dobu se neprovádějí žádné operace, váš Walkman se automaticky vypne, s výjimkou případů, kdy je aktivováno FM rádio.)
• The display will be turned off if you do not attempt an operation for a certain period of time. (Displej se vypne, pokud po určitou dobu neprovedete žádnou operaci.) In such cases, press the BACK/HOME button to turn the display back on. (V takových případech stiskněte tlačítko ZPĚT/DOMŮ pro opětovné zapnutí displeje.)

How to Use Your Walkman (Jak používat Walkman)

The Home menu is the starting point of each application. (Domovská nabídka je výchozím bodem každé aplikace.)

To display [Music] on the Home menu (Zobrazení [Hudba] v domovské nabídce)	Press and hold the BACK/HOME button. (Stiskněte a podržte tlačítko ZPĚT/DOMŮ.)
To select an item (Výběr položky)	Press either side of the button to select an item, and then press the button to confirm. (Stisknutím kterékoli strany tlačítka vyberte položku a poté stiskněte tlačítko pro potvrzení.)
To return to the previous screen (Návrat na předchozí obrazovku)	Press the BACK/HOME button. (Stiskněte tlačítko ZPĚT/DOMŮ.)
Home menu* 1 (Domovská nabídka* 1)
[Music] ([Hudba])	Plays back transferred music on your Walkman. (Přehrává přenesenou hudbu ve vašem Walkmanu.)
[FM Radio] * 1 ([FM rádio] * 1)	Plays FM radio, or plays back/deletes FM radio programs recorded with your Walkman. (Přehrává FM rádio nebo přehrává/odstraňuje FM rádiové programy nahrané pomocí vašeho Walkmanu.)
[Settings] ([Nastavení])	Sets the function for music, FM*1 , or your Walkman settings. (Nastavuje funkci pro hudbu, FM*1 nebo nastavení vašeho Walkmanu.)

Importing and Transferring Music (Import a přenos hudby)

You can transfer music (WMA or MP3 codec) into [MUSIC] folder on your Walkman by dragging and dropping it in Windows Explorer on your computer. (Hudbu (kodek WMA nebo MP3) můžete přenést do složky [MUSIC] ve vašem Walkmanu přetažením v Průzkumníku Windows ve vašem počítači.) If you need to rip music data from CDs, you can use Windows Media Player 11 or 12. (Pokud potřebujete extrahovat hudební data z CD, můžete použít Windows Media Player 11 nebo 12.) Note (Poznámka)

• Do not disconnect your Walkman while files are being transferred. (Neodpojujte Walkman během přenosu souborů.) If you do, the file being transferred will be damaged. (Pokud tak učiníte, přenášený soubor bude poškozen.)
• You cannot transfer music with copyright protection since your Walkman does not support it. (Nemůžete přenášet hudbu s ochranou autorských práv, protože ji váš Walkman nepodporuje.)

Troubleshooting (Odstraňování problémů)

If your Walkman does not function as expected, try the following steps to resolve the issue. (Pokud váš Walkman nefunguje podle očekávání, zkuste problém vyřešit pomocí následujících kroků.)

1. Find the symptoms of the issue in "Troubleshooting" in the Help Guide (HTML document), and try any corrective actions listed. (Najděte příznaky problému v části "Odstraňování problémů" v Nápovědě (dokument HTML) a vyzkoušejte uvedené nápravné akce.)

2. Connect your Walkman to your computer to charge the battery. (Připojte Walkman k počítači a nabijte baterii.)
   You may be able to resolve some issues by charging the battery. (Nabíjením baterie můžete vyřešit některé problémy.)
3. Press the RESET button with a pen or paper clip, etc. (Stiskněte tlačítko RESET perem nebo kancelářskou sponkou atd.)
   Before resetting your Walkman, disconnect your Walkman from your computer and check that no song is being played back. About the headphones (O sluchátkách)

• Avoid playing the unit at so loud a volume that extended play might affect your hearing. (Nepoužívejte jednotku při tak vysoké hlasitosti, aby dlouhodobé přehrávání mohlo ovlivnit váš sluch.)
• At a high volume outside sounds may become inaudible. (Při vysoké hlasitosti se vnější zvuky mohou stát neslyšitelnými.) Avoid listening to the unit in situations where hearing must not be impaired, for example, while driving or cycling. About the in-ear headphones (O sluchátkách do uší)
The earbuds seal your ears. (Špunty do uší utěsňují vaše uši.) Therefore, be aware that there is a risk of damage to your ears or eardrums if strong pressure is applied to the earbuds, or the earbuds are suddenly removed from your ears.
