Description

The ultrasonic humidifier is a device designed to increase the humidity in a single room. Ultrasonic humidifiers use highfrequency technology which sends off a vibration to the water. The water vibrates to move in tune with the vibration, breaks down into microscopic droplets and then transforms into vapour. The device releases the mist into the room, which almost instantly creates a cooler, more humid environment.

It is recommended to use the device in rooms with a temperature below 20°C and a relative humidity lower than 80%. The device can be used in rooms with a temperature between 0°C and 40°C and a relative humidity lower than 90%.

  1. Water tank
  2. Water tank cover
  3. Nozzle
  • Remove the water tank from the device.
  • Remove the water tank cover from the water tank.
  • If necessary, clean the water tank and the water tank cover with water.
  • Fill the tank with clear water (max. 40°C).
  • Put the water tank cover on the water tank. Make sure that the nozzle is correctly placed on the water tank cover.
  • Place the water tank into the device.
  • Note: If there is not enough water in the water tank, the device will stop automatically. Refill the water tank with water and the device will start operation again.

  1. On/off button
  • Touch the button to switch on the device in automatic mode.
  • Touch the button again to switch off the device.
  1. Timer button
  • Touch the button to set the timer (1-12 hours).
  1. Mist output button
  • Touch the button to exit the automatic mode and set the mist output (3 levels).
  • Touch the button again to go back to automatic mode.
  1. Humidity button
  • Touch the button to increase or decrease the relative humidity by steps of 5%.
  • Touch the button again to exit the humidity setting mode.
Note: If the desired relative humidity is less than the current relative humidity, the machine will enter sleep mode. The display shows the current humidity. Touch the button to view the expected humidity setting on the display.

  • Touch the button to get warm mist output for 10 tot 15 minutes.
  1. Plasma buttton
  • Touch the button to start the plasma function.
  • Touch the button again to stop the plasma function.

Safety

General safety

  • Read the manual carefully before use. Keep the manual for future reference.
  • The manufacturer is not liable for consequential damages or for damages to property or persons caused by nonobservance of the safety instructions and improper use of the device.
  • Only use the device for its intended purposes. Do not use the device for other purposes than described in the manual.
  • Do not use the device if any part is damaged or defective. If the device is damaged or defective, replace the device immediately.
  • The device is suitable for indoor use only. Do not use the device outdoors.
  • The device is suitable for domestic use only. Do not use the device for commercial purposes.
  • Do not use the device in locations with high humidity, such as bathrooms and swimming pools.
  • Do not use the device near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
  • Do not use a timer or a separate remote-control system that switches on the device automatically.
  • Do not use the device in rooms where aerosol products (sprays) are used or where oxygen is being administered.
  • Do not cover the device.
  • Place the device on a stable, flat surface.
  • Keep the device away from flammable objects.

Electrical safety

  • To reduce risk of electric shock, this product should only be opened by an authorised technician when service is required.
  • Disconnect the product from the mains and other equipment if a problem should occur.
  • Do not use the device if the mains cable or mains plug is damaged or defective. If the mains cable or mains plug is damaged or defective, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised repair agent.
  • Before use, always check that the mains voltage is the same as the voltage on the rating plate of the device.
  • Do not move the device by pulling the mains cable. Make sure that the mains cable cannot become entangled.
  • Make sure that the mains cable does not hang over the edge of a worktop and cannot be caught accidentally or tripped over.
  • Do not immerse the device, the mains cable or the mains plug in water or other liquids.
  • Do not leave the device unattended while the mains plug is connected to the mains supply.
  • Do not use an extension cable.

Cleaning and maintenance

  • Before cleaning or maintenance, always switch off the device, remove the mains plug from the wall socket and wait until the device has cooled down.
  • Do not use cleaning solvents or abrasives.
  • Do not clean the inside of the device.
  • Do not attempt to repair the device. If the device does not operate correctly, replace it with a new device.
  • Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids.
  • Clean the outside of the device using a soft, damp cloth. Thoroughly dry the device with a clean, dry cloth.
  • Clean the ventilation openings using a soft brush.
