Important Safety Instructions

READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING

Please check if the local power supply voltage matches the voltage indicated on this appliance before use.
To protect against fire, electric shock or injury, do not immerse cord, plug or main unit in water or any other liquid.
Keep the appliance out of reach of children and people with limited capabilities.
Unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Do not unplug by pulling on the cord.
Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug. If the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any way, do not use it. Return the appliance to the nearest authorised facility for repair.
Accessories or attachments that were not provided by the manufacturer should not be used. They may result in fire, electric shock or injury.
Do not use outdoors.
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
The appliance should be operated on a flat and dry surface.
Do not operate the appliance for more than one minute continuously.
Do not use the appliance to chop meat.
Do not insert food into the machine by hand. Always use the food pusher.
Never remove the cones while the machine is in use.
The appliance should not be used if it was dropped or if the cones were damaged.
Always unplug the appliance when unattended and before inserting or removing the blade cone.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
The appliance should be operated on a flat and dry surface.
Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
Use the appliance in a ventilated room, and do not let it touch curtains, wall paper, clothing, dishcloths or any other flammable materials.
Cleaning and maintenance should not be done by children without supervision.

Why Spiralize?

The Gourmia Electric Spiralizer includes three cone shaped blades to achieve different cutting styles. In just a few minutes you will have uniform strips with just the press of a button, as opposed to the time consuming method of manually spiralizing your vegetables.

The accessories are all detachable which allow for fast cleanup and easy storage. Additionally, the handle on the cup allows for easy removal of the spiralized vegetables.

Using Your Device

Operating your Electric Spiralizer:

Plug the appliance into a wall outlet.
Make sure the cup is securely in place.
Cut the ends or the head of the vegetable (e.g. carrot, radish, sweet potato, etc.)
Place the gear into the base. Make sure it is securely in place.
Place the blade into the gear. You may need to turn it a little to ensure that it is securely in place.

Note: Use caution when handling the blades, as they are very sharp.

Place the food pusher into the feeder, and apply pressure.
Place the vegetable into the feeder. Make sure it is secure and not loose.
Flip the switch to on.
Press the food pusher down.

Note: The unit has three kinds of blades to create different shapes of food.

Chipping blade - Ribbon
Stripping blade- Thick noodle
Circle blade- Noodle

The machine will begin to cut the vegetable.
The cut vegetable will then fall into the cup.

Note: Do not operate the unit for more than one minute continuously.

When the process is complete, flip the switch to off.
Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet before cleaning.
Remove and disassemble all the accessories such as the feeder, blade, food pusher and gear.

The blade is sharp, handle carefully when cleaning.
Turn the feeder clockwise to remove it.

Wipe the exterior of the motor unit with a damp cloth.
Dry the machine thoroughly.

Note: Never immerse the unit, cord or plug in water or any other liquid.

CORD PLUG
This appliance has a polarised plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarised outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.

A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if caution is used when using.
If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:

The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.

Warranty & Service

This Limited Warranty is for one full year from the date of purchase. It is applicable to the original purchaser only and is not transferable to a third party user. Repair or replacement of defective parts is solely at the seller's discretion. In the event that repair isn't possible, the seller will replace the product/part. If product repair/ replacement won't suffice, the seller has the option of refunding the cash value of the product or component returned.

Product defects not covered under the Warranty provisions include normal wear and damage incurred from use or accidental negligence, misuse of instruction specifications or repair by unauthorised parties. The manufacturing company is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages incurred by such circumstances.
