Your Lithium-ion battery does not come fully charged. Prior to first use, charge completely. During first use, discharge fully to condition your Lithium-ion battery. This product uses a Lithium-ion rechargeable and recyclable battery. When the battery no longer holds a charge, it should be removed from the hand vacuum and recycled.
